Privacy Policy

Credits is developed by Demsoft LTD (“Demsoft”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the Credits app.
The short version
Credits doesn’t have user accounts, doesn’t track what you watch, and doesn’t run analytics or advertising software. The only thing Credits stores is the watchlist you build yourself, and it stays on your device.
No accounts, no sign-in
Credits does not require or offer account creation or sign-in. We have no way to identify you as a person, and we don’t ask you to.
Your watchlist
When you save a movie, show, or person in Credits, that entry is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to us or to any third party, and we have no access to it. Deleting the app deletes your watchlist.
No watch-history tracking
Credits does not record or transmit a history of what you view, search for, or watch. Browsing and searching within the app happen without any scrobble or activity tracking on our end.
Third-party data sources
Credits uses the following services purely as data sources, to show you information about movies, TV shows, and where to watch them:
- TMDB (The Movie Database) — titles, artwork, cast and crew, and related metadata.
- Trakt — supplementary movie and TV metadata.
- JustWatch — where a title can be streamed, rented, or purchased.
Requests to these services are made directly from the app to fetch the content you’re viewing. As with any network request, standard technical information (such as your IP address) is visible to these providers as part of that request; Demsoft does not receive, store, or process this information separately. We don’t send these providers any personal or account information, because Credits doesn’t collect any.
No analytics, no advertising
Credits does not include analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or any form of tracking (including IDFA/advertising identifiers). We don’t know how you use the app beyond what you can see on your own screen.
Children’s privacy
Credits does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, if Credits later adds a feature that changes how data is handled — we’ll update this page and revise the effective date above.
